Safety is a vital component of Cooper quality service, and will never be sacrificed for sake of cost or schedule.
Our company-wide commitment
Cooper Construction is a Member of the WSIB Safety Group. We support the health and safety prevention and education initiatives of the WSIB with our policies, practices, incentives and, above all, our company-wide commitment—from senior management to individual worker—to work safely.
Cooper’s Health & Safety program is coordinated by senior management in close liaison with project managers, superintendents, field staff and sub-trades, and maintains on-going communication with government and private agencies to ensure the program’s effectiveness.
Full safety compliance inspections are conducted every two weeks on every Cooper project site.
All Cooper project superintendents have successfully completed CSAO Part I & II Certification for Joint Health and Safety Committee members.
