W. P. Cooper, P.Eng., F.C.S.C.E. — President
Bill Cooper has been President of the Company since 1978 and assumes responsibility for all policies, administration, and operations. He has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of building construction. Bill has also served on the Board of Directors of a number of Canadian public companies, his most recent appointment being to the Board of Cogeco Cable Inc.
Kenneth A. Nevar — Executive Vice President
Ken joined the company in 1979 and plays a pivotal role in all strategic initiatives of the company. Ken has responsibility for development activities, including land acquisition, site servicing, Design/Build construction, marketing and tenant selection activities on behalf of private investors and for our own account.
Donald B. Gordon, P.Eng., MBA — Vice President, Operations
Don joined the firm in 1980 and is responsible for field operations, administration and management for all construction client contracts. Don shares his expertise, gained through extensive "hands-on" site experience, with a client first approach.
William Luffman, PQS — Director of Development
Bill joined Cooper in 1988 and is responsible for "Master Planning" all of our development projects. Bill works very closely with the client, design consultants and sub trades in the development of effective and efficient site plans, building configurations, preliminary construction budgets, value engineering, and general building specifications.
John Goldspink, CA — Chief Financial Officer
John has over 16 years experience in senior finance positions with both public and private real estate development companies. John brings a solid understanding of financing techniques and taxation issues specific to the real estate development industry.
William Cooper Jr. – Leasing
Bill started at Cooper in 1996 as a project coordinator, and subsequently worked in business development. From 1999, he gained experience in commercial real estate sales and leasing, working with Royal LePage and Colliers International. Bill returned to Cooper in 2006 and worked in the field before moving back to the office to manage leasing for the Hanlon Business Park project in Guelph.
